90,000 Hectares Planted On
IDOMIT began operating oil palm plantations in Nigeria, Benin Republic & Cote d’Ivoire and processing crude and refined palm oil in partnership with privately owned refineries in Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Nigeria in 2017. Through its wealth of experience IDOMIT is positioned as one of the main traders of crude palm oil in Nigeria and the West African Region. We manage 100 hectares of Industrial Plantations (IP), spread over four (04) sites ( – Alari – Ajilete – Gbawojo – Beebe) which we plan to increase to 5,000 hectares and 10,000 hectares respectively of existing Palm plantations in Nigeria. And we supervise approximately 2,000 planters on some 80,000 hectares of Village Plantations under a cooperative system.
We undertake a vast program of rehabilitation of village plantations, articulated around 4 essential points in particular, support for development (supply of plants), material support (harvesting tools, equipment, and fertilizers), technical support (training technique of all the actors) and management on behalf of the Plant.
We are currently in the process of setting up a 100 t/d refinery in Nigeria, where some oil seeds from these Plantations will be reserved exclusively for the production of our retail products.
