The Problem We’re Solving
In West African commodity trade, storage is where supply chains most commonly fail. Crude palm oil that sits in substandard conditions develops high free fatty acid (FFA) levels, triggering price deductions or outright rejection by refiners. Temperature-uncontrolled storage degrades product quality between harvest and delivery. And without bonded, insured facilities, financing institutions have no collateral to underwrite, which means capital stays locked out of the sector.
Idomit Agro built its storage infrastructure precisely because we understood that owning the commodity from plantation to delivery is only possible if you control the conditions in which it is held between those two points.

Bonded Storage Across Three Countries
Idomit Agro operates bonded storage facilities in Nigeria, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire, giving us the ability to hold, manage, and trade product across the West African sub-region without depending on third-party infrastructure. Our bonded status means goods held in our facilities qualify for trade financing, meet customs compliance requirements, and carry the documentation trail international buyers and lenders require.
This network is what allows us to commit to volume and delivery timelines that independent traders, who rely on rented or shared facilities, cannot guarantee.
The Isiun Tank Farm: Flagship Development

At a four-hectare site in Isiun, Obafemi/Owode Local Government Area, Ogun State, Idomit Agro is developing a world-class crude palm oil storage complex: the Isiun Tank Farm.

Why Storage Quality Defines Commodity Value
Crude palm oil quality is measured by Free Fatty Acid (FFA) content. Top-tier off-takers require FFA below 5%; levels above this trigger steep price deductions or outright rejection. Maintaining FFA requires rapid harvest-to-storage transfer within 24 to 48 hours, temperature-controlled tanks, and regular quality sampling. Our storage infrastructure is designed around these requirements because our buyers, Dufil Prima Foods, Flour Mills of Nigeria, and Golden Oil Industries, allow no margin for quality failure.
